The September Virtual Theatre Jam is a 48 hour worldwide festival where digital creators across disciplines come together to create virtual theatre! Inspired by the tradition of game jams and 48 hour filmmaking and theatre-making events, this event features teams of creators working and playing together under a time constraint to produce a short piece of virtual theatre. This event concludes with a final showcase, in which participating teams debut their finished creations.

Jam builds begin across Twitch at 3 pm PT on Sept 6 and continue until the final showcase. Regular updates for streamers going live can be found here.

Curly hosts a showcase of performers from LA's Theatre of NOTE sharing a variety of unique, short theatrical pieces. Produced by Kirsten Vangsness (Criminal Minds), BITS is a monthly fundraiser that highlights the breadth of talent and skills of the performers involved. An interview with Kirsten will kick off this event.

This event will raise funds for Theatre of NOTE and their upcoming production, Electric, I. Half of funds raised will be contributed to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

About "Electric, I": "Electric, I" is Theatre of NOTE's latest full length stage play by Shayne Eastin and Directed by Amanda Sonnenschein. The play is centered around the plight of an artist and a scientist who, undeterred by the barriers of time, unite to outrun the media's trajectory while hoping to carve out a path illuminated by nature and genuine human connection. Theatre of NOTE is a non-profit company with over a 40 year history of bringing new works to Los Angeles.

About Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation: Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) is changing the lives of children with cancer by funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer.
